About Art Therapy
Art Therapy sessions can benefit both adults and children. Each session is person-centered and unique, with a focus on respect and building the therapeutic relationship. It is a psychotherapeutic approach that uses creative expression as a way to explore emotions, experiences, and personal challenges. Through the process of making art, you can give shape to what might be hard to express in words, gaining understanding and finding new ways to move through or live with what feels difficult.
It’s not about artistic skill or creating something “beautiful,” but about using creativity as a means of reflection and healing. No previous art experience is needed.
Art Therapy can support people facing a range of experiences, including emotional or mental health challenges, physical or neurological conditions, learning difficulties, and periods of transition or loss.
About Me
I am an English- and German-speaking Expressive Arts Therapist from Austria, currently based in Paris. I hold a Master’s degree in Intermediale Kunsttherapie (Expressive Arts Therapy) from MSH Medical School Hamburg. My training in expressive arts therapy integrates multiple creative modalities — including visual art, movement, and imagination, which means I offer a flexible and holistic approach to emotional exploration and healing.
While art therapy often focuses primarily on visual expression, expressive arts therapy invites a dialogue between different creative forms, allowing each process to inform and deepen the other.
I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both community and clinical settings, supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relational challenges. I now work privately in Paris, offering individual expressive arts therapy sessions as well as therapeutic art experiences for groups, including nature-based sessions, creative retreats, and shared creative circles.
My practice is rooted in an expressive and client-centred approach that values creativity, curiosity, and the therapeutic relationship as pathways to healing. I invite each person to engage with their own creative process in a way that feels authentic and meaningful, allowing insight, transformation, and growth to unfold through experience and expression.
Environmental Art Therapy Group
We warmly invite you to join our Environmental Art Therapy group, co-facilitated by myself and fellow therapist Emily Clemson.
Held in the beautiful parks of Paris, these sessions offer a space to slow down, reconnect, and engage creatively with both the natural world and your inner landscape. Through mindful exploration and the use of natural materials, we invite you to discover how nature can mirror, support, and transform your emotional experience. In this nurturing group setting, art-making becomes a way to feel grounded, cultivate presence, and restore a sense of balance and belonging: to yourself, to others, and to the environment around you.
Whether you come seeking calm, inspiration, or a deeper sense of connection, all are welcome.
Regular attendance is encouraged for this therapy group, with sessions priced at 50 euros. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a conversation.
